Ultimate Woodlands - Local authors from The Woodlands and surrounding areas will represent a variety of book genres to round out the literary lineup at the sixth Annual Signatures Author Series on Friday, Nov. 12, at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center.

New York Times best-selling author Nicholas Sparks will deliver the keynote presentation. His books, including A Walk to Remember, The Notebook and Dear John have sold more than 50 million copies in worldwide circulation.

Nicholas Sparks featured in Signature Author Series
Montgomery County Courier - The JOHN COOPER SCHOOL in The Woodlands brings best selling author Nicholas Sparks to its sixth annual SIGNATURE AUTHOR SERIES Nov. 12 in The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center.

Despite the fact that previous internationally known figures like Barbara Bush and Dave Barry were featured, Sparks may be the best one yet from a writer’s point of view.

At 44, Sparks has written 15 novels that have engendered stupendous readership and at least three hit movies. “The Notebook” comes readily to mind, with another less successful, “The Last Song,” starring Miley Cyrus. It was released in March.
