Paramount welcomes new director
Rutland Herald - Rutland, VT, USA - Bruce Bouchard has worked with a number of recognizable names as an actor and theater director over the years.

Next week, he will begin a new job at the most recognized theater in Rutland County.

The Paramount Theatre Board of Directors announced Friday that Bouchard will begin work Tuesday as the theater's executive director. He replaces former director Tim Marceau, who left the Paramount last month after a three-month stint as director.

Paramount Board of Directors President Laurie Mecier said board members sorted through 16 candidates — whom she said were all exceptionally qualified — before deciding on Bouchard.

Jimmy Fallon Is Engaged
Today's THV - Little Rock, AR, USA - In a round-about way, baseball's been very, very good to Jimmy Fallon.

It's helped him find love. Fallon has just gotten engaged to one of the producers of his baseball movie "Fever Pitch."

Her name is Nancy Juvonen. She and Drew Barrymore produced "Fever Pitch" through their company called Flower Films. Fallon's spokeswoman says he proposed over the weekend at Juvonen's family home in New Hampshire.

He presented her with a diamond ring. Neither Fallon nor Juvonen has been married before.

Fallon on top of NBC's 'short list'
San Diego Union Tribune - United States - NBC has targeted Jimmy Fallon to replace Conan O'Brien in 2009, according to people familiar with the talks.

Broadcasting & Cable reports that Fallon is NBC's favorite to take over from O'Brien, who hosts “Late Night With Conan O'Brien” after “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.”

NBC late-night chief Rick Ludwin says he doesn't expect to make an announcement until sometime after the first of the year, but he confirmed that Fallon is on the top of the network's list.

“I think he'd be terrific, and he is at the top of our short list,” Ludwin says.

NBC backs Fallon for Late Show
AZ - AZ, USA - NBC said comedian Jimmy Fallon is its top choice to succeed Conan O'Brien in 2009, when O'Brien is scheduled to replace Jay Leno as host of "The Tonight Show."

Marc Liepis, an NBC spokesman in New York, confirmed a report today on Broadcasting & Cable's Web site in which Rick Ludwin, executive vice president for late night programming, said Fallon is "at the top of our short list."

Jimmy Fallon may step into Conan's shoes
MSNBC - USA - NEW YORK - When Conan O'Brien steps in to Jay Leno's vacated “Tonight Show” chair in 2009, it appears Jimmy Fallon will make himself at home in Conan's “Late Night” digs.

Fallon, the “Saturday Night Live” alum, is the favorite to take over for Conan, reports Broadcasting & Cable.

“I think he’d be terrific, and he is at the top of our short list,” NBC late-night chief Rick Ludwin told Broadcasting & Cable.

New York Post - New York, NY, USA - 'SATURDAY Night Live" stalwart Jimmy Fallon is the top candidate to replace Conan O'Brien in 2009 - when O'Brien is set to take over "The Tonight Show" from Jay Leno.
