Wolfgang Puck to Open Ritz-Carlton Restaurant |
by Richard Guzmán, City Editor,LA Downtown News Online - DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES - Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck will add to his L.A. Live presence with a new restaurant set to open inside the Ritz-Carlton, the hotel announced today.
The chef, who also runs the Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill at the $2.5 billion L.A. Live in South Park, will open WP24 by Wolfgang Puck on the 24th floor of the hotel. The restaurant will feature Asian fare, a wine cave and two private dining rooms.
“Given my longstanding relationship with the city of Los Angeles, it is an honor to continue my involvement with the renaissance of Downtown, especially L.A. Live,” Puck said in a statement.
David McIntyre, of Spago in Beverly Hills, which is also owned by the Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group, will be the executive chef of the new restaurant, which will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Ritz-Carlton hotel is set to open March 15. It is part of the $1 billion, 1,001-room Ritz-Carlton/J.W. Marriott tower at L.A. Live.
