Trade and consumer show for high-end pet market to launch in NYC

EXPO Magazine - Overland Park, KS, USA - Pawniquely Yours, a maker of hand-crafted dog beds, is launching the Luxury Pet Pavilion, a trade and consumer show for high-end pet owners and retailers, Aug. 18-19, 2007, at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York. The event will be held in conjunction with Pet Fashion Week in New York. A second event is planned for Feb. 23-24, 2008, in Los Angeles, CA.

Exhibitors will include makers of luxury pet products, such as Austrian Swarovski Crystal collars and celebrity-inspired dog carriers.

Stephanie Ellis, CEO of Pawniquely Yours, is striving to create a luxury atmosphere at the event. For the New York event, she's partnered with Monica Hannah, President of QP Luxury, a shopping portal for luxury pet boutiques. Guests will be treated to gift bags, champagne toasts and gourmet treats.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet a number of celebrity guests, including David Frei, Co-host of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, Scott Elrod from the ABC series “Men in Trees,” and Miss Fido Manners, who will available to answer pet etiquette questions.
