The Biggest Loser: Catching Up with a Former Host |
BuddyTV - Seattle, WA, USA - The fifth season of The Biggest Loser recently ended, celebrating their first ever female winner. Ali Vincent rose above the rest to lose as much pounds as she can, and eventually bagged the $250,000 cash prize. More than that, Vincent and the rest of the Biggest Loser alums were able to inspire people across the globe to be aware of the importance of exercise and the right diets. Today, more and more people are jumping onto the health and fitness bandwagon, with the various techniques and meal plans available over the internet.
The Biggest Loser speaks of the success of many, not just Vincent. While these reality TV personalities have touched the lives of many, all the others are also struggling to reach their personal success. One former host of the Biggest Loser, though, is also celebrating her personal success, and has recently told the press about it.
Caroline Rhea, who is widely known for her acting stint on Sabrina the Teenaged Witch as Aunt Hilda, began a career in comedy and acting in 1989 and since then has appeared in sitcoms and television shows. Moving forward, she began hosting and landed her own syndicated daytime talk show, The Caroline Rhea Show. It was during the debut season of NBC’s The Biggest Loser that Rhea landed a stint as a host of the show. She remained with the show until its third season and in February 2007, NBC announced that actress Alison Sweeney will be replacing Rhea as host. Since then, she has pursued other television endeavors, including lending her voice to the character of Linda Flynn in Disney’s Phineas and Ferb.
More recently, the representative for the 44-year-old actress told People magazine that she is expecting a child with her longtime boyfriend, comedian Costaki Economopoulos.
Fans in Canada will get to see more of Caroline Rhea as she will make appearances in the following venues this June.
