Star Jones Thanks Audience for Second Chance

People Magazine - USA - Former View co-host Star Jones, whose recent legal show is going off the air, is thanking viewers for supporting her.

"[I] owe the greatest thanks to you, the audience who gave me a second chance," writes Jones on huffingtonpost.com.

Jones, 45, who left The View in 2006 after her contract was not renewed and had a falling out with Barbara Walters, says she is enormously proud of her latest program.

"When we started the [Star Jones Show] last summer, our goal from day one was to do a show that would inform you, entertain you and make us proud to come to work every day. I believe we were consistent with our pledge that on every topic, our team would work hard to be right on the facts."

The program, which aired on TruTV (the former Court TV), was pulled off the schedule "due to the rebranding and programming," according to a statement from TruTV. But Jones says she is convinced that she's on the right career path as a TV personality.
