Stand-up comedian Jim Gaffigan visits WMU |
WMU News - KALAMAZOO--Stand-up comedian Jim Gaffigan will perform at Western Michigan University's Miller Auditorium at 8 p.m. Friday, April 16.
Gaffigan is true comedic triple threat, having achieved major milestones in stand-up comedy, acting and writing. Beloved by a wide range of audiences, he continues to prove himself a major talent who is responsible for some of the funniest and most memorable moments in recent television and film. His clever and quiet style has earned him a spot as one of the top-five touring comedians in the country. His 2006 Comedy Central special "Beyond the Pale" was certified Platinum, selling more than 150,000 DVDs and 170,000 CDs.
Gaffigan's appearance at Miller Auditorium is sponsored and coordinated by the Campus Activities Board at WMU, a registered student organization that brings big names to campus for a small price. CAB activities are chosen by WMU students and funded by the Student Assessment Fee.
