'So You Think You Can Dance' Seeks Participants in Utah |
BuddyTV - USA - So You Think You Can Dance is presently holding auditions across major cities of the United States, looking for outstanding dancers for the much awaited fourth season of the FOX competitive dance reality series. Since its premiere in 2005, the show has never included Utah in its roster of audition venues. But seeing last year's champ, Sabra Johnson and season 2 top 10 dancer Allison Holker, who both hail from Utah, producers are now looking forward to scout out talent in the Beehive State.
Utah was the most recent audition site for the upcoming season of So You Think You Can Dance. Tryouts were held in Salt Lake City at the Capitol Theatre on Monday, February 4, where hundreds of hopefuls waited in line for a chance to land a spot on the show. Prior to the Utah auditions, tryouts were held in Charleston, South Carolina at the Charleston Music Hall on February 1 and in Dallas, Texas on January 17 at the McFarlin Memorial Auditorium, which was the first audition ever to commence for the upcoming season.
"We're expecting high talent from Utah," Jeff Thacker, supervising producer of the show and a former dancer and choreographer, said.
