Sir Richard Branson to speak at ExactTarget conference |
By Tom Spalding, Indianapolis Star - Cyberspace will meet outer space when Sir Richard Branson comes to Indianapolis this fall as the keynote speaker of ExactTarget's annual private tech and marketing conference.
The Monument Circle-based e-mail and Web communications specialist today said it landed Branson -- the flamboyant billionaire who is the brains and wallet behind Virgin Group -- as keynote speaker of Connections ’10 to be held Sept. 14-16.
Grammy-award winning band Train will perform a private concert for the company's clients.
The three-day event is a forum of sorts on marketing best practices and features case studies to building interactive marketing campaigns with email, social media, mobile marketing and Web applications.
ExactTarget’s "Connections" event last October drew 1,300 people to hear New York Times bestselling author Malcolm Gladwell and academy-award winning actress Marlee Matlin.
