Rudy Giuliani coming for 2011 Naples Town Hall Speaker Series

Naples Daily News - Rudy Giuliani is the final speaker to be announced for the 2010 Naples Town Hall Distinguished Speaker Series.

The former mayor of New York will talk about that tragic day in 2001 when America saw one of its worst terrorist attacks, which took the lives of nearly 3,000 people. He will talk about what has been learned since the 9/11 attacks.

“Rudy Giuliani is synonymous with strength and character that marks a true leader in the face of a horrific crisis. His ability to lead and galvanize a city in its darkest hour will be forever etched in the memories of all Americans,” said Rick Borman, president and producer of the Naples Town Hall Series, in a statement. “He was named ‘Man of the Year’ by Time magazine in 2001, an appropriate honor for a man who became the voice of reassurance and calm during a time of great turmoil. His actions, and his words, helped inspire all of us to strengthen our resolve to stand up against the fear of terrorism and unite to become an even stronger country than before the attacks.”
