'Redneck' comic Jeff Foxworthy at Harrah's Saturday

The News Journal - Wilmington, DE, USA - Jeff Foxworthy gets a kick from the irony of his role as host of the hit Fox game show, "Are You Smarter Than a 5th- Grader?"

"When I was in fifth grade, all I wanted to do was to make the class laugh," chuckles Foxworthy. "Now, I'm a grownup, and someone's payin' me to do it!"

And, he notes, he'll continue to draw a paycheck for cracking wise, as the quiz show that has kids and adults testing their knowledge has been picked up for a 32-episode, sophomore-season run. Not that the program's success is any big shock to Foxworthy, who'll be doing two shows Saturday at Harrah's Atlantic City.
