Offices2Share.com, Dell and Trump University Announce 'The Home Office From Hell(TM)' Contest Winners |
Earthtimes.org - USA - Crying babies, fax machines going bump in the night, and suspicious neighbors have characterized Bob Glickman's and Susan Wright's home businesses for too long - but all that is going to change.
Bob and Susan are the Grand Prize Winner and Runner-Up Winner for the Second Annual "Home Office From Hell(TM)" Contest, created by Offices2Share.com (http://www.offices2share.com/) and promoted by its corporate participants, Dell and Trump University. Offices2Share.com, which helps home-based and small businesses find short-term, ready-to-use office space throughout the United States, asked entrants to share a top-10 list and video of the most compelling and humorous reasons why they needed to escape their home offices from hell.
The contest was aimed at the home-based entrepreneur who wants to stay competitive, get great clients and make more money, but who struggles to balance business obligations with the personal responsibilities that surround their home office. These are the entrepreneurs who can be found taking an overseas client call while calming their screeching toddler with one hand and signing for a FedEx package with the other.
Offices2Share.com received an overwhelming number of responses to the contest from across the country and from a variety of different businesses. The entries ranged from the desperate to the truly hilarious, but one thing they had in common was a desire to move their business to a real office, thereby leaving behind all the difficulties and frustrations that arise from working out of their home.
For his creative efforts as the Grand Prize Winner, Bob Glickman will be able to grow and expand his business into a "real" office of his choosing from among the thousands of office spaces listed with Offices2Share.com. Offices2Share.com will pay his rent up to $1000 per month for one year. Offices2Share.com will also provide him with a paid trip to New York City to have lunch with George Ross, Donald Trump's right hand man, and former co-star of the TV show, "The Apprentice". In addition, Bob will receive directly from Dell a high-end computer, laptop and accessories. Trump University will provide Bob with free tuition to their world-renowned Entrepreneurship Mastery Program. As the runner up, Susan Wright will receive a top-of-the-line Dell laptop computer and a number of Trump University products that will help Susan take her home-based business to the next level. In the aggregate, these prizes are valued in excess of $30,000.
Glickman is ecstatic about winning the contest and said, "My company was bursting at the seams, and is currently expanding in new directions, so this win couldn't have come at a better time!
And when Susan found out she also won, she said, "I am really appreciative to win the lap-top computer - it is wonderful to know "a business", Offices2Share.com, cares enough about their community to host a contest in order to help others ... thanks Offices2Share!"
Here is Bob Glickman's winning contest entry:
