Michael Symon to compete to become next Iron Chef |
Cleveland Plain Dealer - Cleveland, OH, USA - Acclaimed Cleveland chef-restaurateur Michael Symon could become the next Iron Chef.
Symon, a James Beard Foundation nominee and executive chef and managing partner of Lola and Lolita in Cleveland and Parea in New York, is one of eight noted chefs who will compete on "The Next Iron Chef," a new reality series, which premieres Oct. 7 at 9 p.m. on the Food Network.
The winner of that show will join the likes of Mario Batali, Cat Cora and Bobby Flay on the next season of "Iron Chef America," which pits celebrity chefs against newcomers in hour-long cooking competitions.
