Legend, Badu Join Joyner'S 'Fantastic Voyage' |
The Elements - Los Angeles, CA, USA - The 9th annual Fantastic Voyage, known as the Ultimate Party with a Purpose, is ready to set sale May 18 - 25 from Miami on a seven day, six night cruise via the Royal Caribbean International’s ‘Freedom of the Seas.
This year’s cruise stops in Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos Islands, San Juan, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and CocoCay, Bahamas.
Grammy winners Erykah Badu and John Legend will perform in a special cruise-passengers only concert at The Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico., hosted by nationally syndicated media personality Tom Joyner. Acts booked for the cruise include Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, Chaka Khan, Charlie Wilson, The Stylistics, The Emotions, Bobby Brown, Johnny Gill and SWV.
For blues and jazz lovers, Roy Ayers, Lonnie Liston Smith and Wayne Henderson are also tapped to perform. Comedians confirmed for the event include D.L. Hughley, Cedric the Entertainer, Mark Curry, Earthquake, Ralphie May, Sheryl Underwood, Adele Givens and John Henton.
Lynn Whitfield will be on board to discuss and screen her new movie, “Mama, I Want to Sing,” while Bill Duke and Vivica Fox will be on hand for a viewing of “Cover.”
