I invited my friend with me, and as the only one of us who had seen Milk, I think I was expecting more than he was to see someone other than either
Brand Walsh or the taciturn
Lwellyn Moss. Brolin is straight-up great in Milk, but even so, I wasn't really expecting the intelligent, thoughtful, seriously experienced actor who put up with Lipton's three-hour barrage of questions that night. After all, his stepmother is
