Actress Archives - New York City, NY, USA - As the summer blockbuster season presses on, fans are starting to look forward to the second half of what has been a record-setting year at the box office. While the blockbuster sequels like Spider-Man 3, Pirates of the Caribbean and Harry Potter have hit the big screen, original screenplays are getting their kick at the summer box office can.
Hoping to make a big splash at the box office, the Adam Sandler-produced comedy I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, held their US premiere this week. Jessica Biel plays the female lead opposite both Adam Sandler and former King of Queens star Kevin James. The film features two straight, single firefighters in Brooklyn who pretend to be a gay couple in order to secure their domestic partner benefits from the fire hall.
On the red carpet, Jessica Biel was quoted as she descried the message of the movie. "I want people to take away the message that you should celebrate people's differences." Biel went on to say that, "That's what's so wonderful about so many different people in this world, that we are so different and no one has the right to choose or judge who you fall in love with and who you want to spend your life with."
