Holland woman earns rose, kiss from 'Bachelor' |
MLive.com - MI, USA - Holland's Robin Canfield was the first to receive a rose during the rose ceremony from "The Bachelor," Matt Grant, on Monday night's episode of the ABC dating reality show.
The 22-year-old advertising executive distinguished herself as being the only contestant who didn't gamble on a group date to Las Vegas. When she told Grant she didn't feel comfortable gambling for one-on-one time with him, when she didn't really know how, he set her mind at ease.
"I'm very interested in you," the Englishman said.
Canfield, who described herself on the show as a "classical musician," also sat on Grant's lap while she played a bit of Vivaldi's "Four Seasons."
She wasn't the only rose hopeful who attempted to impress the 27-year-old "global financier" from London with her musical skills. Several women broke out into song, including 25-year-old Carrie, a "church marketing" person from Seattle who sang a snippet of opera for the unattached Brit. She did not receive a rose to advance to next week's episode.
