Halle Plays By the Oscar Rules

New York Post - New York, NY, USA - It's a generally accepted rule that if an actor wants to win an Academy Award they have to play some sort of emotionally challenged or crippled or stunted individual and Halle Berry clearly knows the first rule of film club.

The new mom just signed on to "Frankie and Alice," wherein she will play a woman who is struggling with multiple personalities. It's shades of "Sybil" but with one ridiculous twist: One of her warped personalities is a racist white woman.

Love the idea, but I dug it even more in 2003 when Dave Chappelle played Clayton Bigsby, the blind African American KKK member on "Chappelle Show."
