Fareed Zakaria to speak at Desert Town Hall - Indian Wells lecture series

The Desert Sun - Columnist, editor of Time magazine and CNN host Fareed Zakaria is the latest confirmed speaker for the next season of the Desert Town Hall — Indian Wells lecture series, officials announced Tuesday.

Zakaria is scheduled to speak Feb. 15.

He is the second speaker slated for the 19th season of the lecture series and joins former President George W. Bush, who is set to speak March 7.

The remaining speakers in the four-speaker series are expected to be announced in the coming months.

All speaking events will be a the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa, 44-400 Indian Wells Lane.

Tickets for the entire series are sold out, but a limited number of individual tickets will be available Jan. 3.
