'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' Family Presented With Brand New Dodge Grand Caravan From Morrie's Automotive Group

PR Newswire (press release) - New York, NY, USA - It's been a very good week for Vicki and Erik Swenson along with their seven (soon to be eight) children. On Tuesday, the Swenson-Lee family received a new home courtesy of ABC TV's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. On Wednesday, the Swenson-Lee family was surprised yet again when Morrie's Automotive Group presented them with a brand new Dodge Grand Caravan.

The privilege of handing over the keys went to Brad Fadden, General Sales Manager for Morrie's Buffalo Chrysler. "It was a truly special moment," said Fadden. "When we drove up and handed over the keys, you could see just how happy and thankful they were."

Morrie's Automotive Group and Morrie's Buffalo Chrysler got involved in the project when TJB Homes asked if they would share in the donation. "We heard that Mr. Swenson's car quit running the day before they left for vacation during the makeover, so the timing was perfect," said Fadden."This family has been through a great deal during past year, and we wanted to support one of our Minnesota families in any way we could. Morrie's Automotive Group is honored to be apart of their new home and new life." The Caravan, along with other donations and gifts from local organizations were presented to the Swenson-Lee family Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. in front of the family's new home.
