Ellen DeGeneres a Really Big Host

E! Online - USA - Ellen DeGeneres is heading back to where it all began, give or take a few million people.

The award-winning talk-show host has been tapped to preside over the upcoming TBS variety special Ellen's Really Big Show, which will feature stand-up comedy, musical acts and DeGeneres' signature brand of giggle inducement.

"I'm very happy to be working with TBS," the former sitcom star, who started out in show business as a comic, said in a statement. "I usually put two TBS of sugar in my coffee every day, so this is a dream come true for me."

The two-hour show, to be culled from footage shot during the HBO Comedy Festival taking place Nov. 14-17 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, airs Nov. 18 on TBS. The Time Warner-owned cable network is the festival's title sponsor
