Drew Carey Returns to Television as the Host of 'Power of 10' |
BuddyTV - USA - The new primetime game show, Power of 10, will premiere in CBS tonight at 8pm ET/PT, with Drew Carey as its host. The 49-year-old comedian and actor, known for his work on the American version of Whose Line is it Anyway?, will be giving contestants the chance to win $10 million by asking them five percentage-related questions created from public-opinion poll's results. The game proved interesting enough for Carey to return to television.
"I would have been quite happy to never, ever be on another TV show," Carey said, "but this sounded so interesting to me, I said I'd do it. It was a big thing that [Who Wants to be a Millionaire? executive producer] Michael Davies was doing it, and I think people who watch it will rethink what they believe America believes."
Drew Carey also said that since he also does not know the answers to the questions, he gets to “play along with the contestants,” for whom he has much empathy.
