Copies of Charity Book America's Athletes To Be Donated To American Troops Serving Abroad

PR Web (press release) - Ferndale, WA, USA - Fans of the popular sports photography book America's Athletes now have a unique opportunity to support our nation's troops by donating a copy or copies of the one-or-a-kind collector's book to members of the United States Armed Forces serving abroad.

Copies of the book are available for purchase through August 31st will be distributed to American Forces serving abroad through www.operationpaperback.com, a non-profit, grassroots program founded in 1999 that collects gently used books and sends them to American troops deployed overseas, and www.packagesfromhome.org, which provides food, personal care and recreation items at no cost to our troops serving abroad.

America's Athletes is a collection of photos and personal patriotic essays from over 50 of the nations biggest stars from a variety of sports. Roger Clemens, Mark Grace, Evander Holyfield, Kristi Yamaguchi, Randy Johnson, Tim Duncan and Tony Stewart, are among the athletes displaying patriotic pride and generosity in the charity gift book America's Athletes. The list also includes Luis Gonzalez and Curt Schilling, NBA Champion David Robinson, Super Bowl winners Kurt Warner, Steve Young & Simeon Rice, Stanley Cup Champions Brett Hull, Chris Chelios and Mike Modano, Racing Great Michael Andretti and Olympic Gold Medallists Dan Jansen & Marion Jones, as well as many others.

Proceeds from overall sales of the book are divided equally among charities designated by the participating athletes.
