Christie Brinkley to close next week on Hamptons home |
Newsday - Long Island, NY, USA - Supermodel Christie Brinkley just added a new addition to her East End real estate portfolio.
The supermodel and full-time Hamptonite closed Wednesday on a 2.6-acre, four-bedroom, 2 ½-bath waterfront home in North Haven, says a source. The price she paid was not available.
The 2,800-square-foot, 18th-century saltbox dwelling was listed with Susan Breitenbach of the Corcoran Group for just under $11 million.
Kathy Lynn, a spokeswoman for Brinkley, says Brinkley's original intent was to buy the property for her parents, although she's not sure that's still going to happen.
Brinkley already owns a 4.4-acre Greek Revival mansion in North Haven on Fahys Road.
