Chris Tucker: Fatherhood made me more responsible |
Celebrity Baby Blog - Forest Hills, NY, USA - Rush Hour 3 star Chris Tucker's next project won't be Rush Hour 4 -- at least not yet -- but rather a stand-up comedy movie, in which he hopes to cover a variety of topics from working with Jackie Chan to fatherhood. Chris is dad to Destin Christopher, 8 1/2, from a previous relationship, and wants to share with fans how fatherhood has changed him.
Fatherhood changed me in a way like, you, it takes awhile to realize you're a father, it's like, 'I'm a father. Somebody's depending on me.' So, it's like, it's different, but it changed me in a good way because it opens you up and it really opens up a different side of you and you have to, you really have somebody depending on you.
The 34-year-old comedian is also aware that Destin isn't the only person depending on him. Being famous, Chris knows millions of other kids look up to him as well and realized he needs to "be more cautious" and set a positive example for his son and his peers.
