Celebrity Chef Mario Batali Visits Traverse City

9&10 News - In Traverse City today, the Border's bookstore welcomed celebrity chef Mario Batali for a signing of his new Italian cookbook.

Batali is most known for his appearances on television cooking show, Iron Chef America.

His newest book, Molto Gusto, was on sale for the hundreds of fans that lined up early to get their books signed by the celebrity chef.

As much as the fans loved the visit, the store is happy to see the spike in business from the chef who's a fan favorite.

This was Batali's second visit to the Traverse City Border's.

He owns a home in Northport which he frequents during the summer months.
