CBS rings up Wednesday win with "Power of 10" |
Orlando Sentinel - Orlando, FL, USA - CBS was way out in front Wednesday night, winning every time slot. The network's trio of victors: "Power of 10" with 8.4 million, "Criminal Minds" with 8.5 million and "CSI: NY" with 8.9 million. Drew Carey (pictured) hosts "Power of 10," and no wonder that man is laughing. Life is good, with his gigs at "Power of 10" and "The Price Is Right."
CBS averaged 8.6 million in prime time, and it seems likely that "Power of 10" will be the first sub when a CBS series falters this fall.
The rest: NBC with nearly 6 million, ABC and Fox with 3.8 million apiece, and The CW with 1.7 million. The best showing by a series on a network other than CBS: NBC's "Last Comic Standing" with 6.5 million.
CBS was the winner in the 18-to-49 age group so dear to advertisers. NBC was the runner-up there as well.
