| 'Project Runway' gets one more season on Bravo |
SouthCoastToday.com - New Bedford, MA, USA
- OK, "Project Runway" fans, it's official: You're in for a "PR"-heavy 2008.
Bravo executives confirmed last week that the hit fashion competition would return for its fifth season in July on that network before strutting over to its new home on Lifetime, on which Season 6 is scheduled to air in late November.
The news was announced at Bravo's up-front breakfast, held at Craft, the Flatiron restaurant owned by "Top Chef's" Tom Colicchio. Bravo President Lauren Zalaznick said the network was in the best shape it had ever been.
"Ours is not a comeback story," she said. "Ours is a story of absolute

| A Chat with 'Step It Up's' Elizabeth Berkley and Jerry Mitchell |
Monsters and Critics.com - USA
- Bravo does reality television with panache and intelligence. Fans of "Top Chef" and "Project Runway" can attest to this.
Now, the stunning actress and trained dancer, Elizabeth Berkley, once known for her role as "Jessie" on the classic TV series "Saved By the Bell," claims her new dance show follows suit and replicates the higher standards of the other Bravo efforts.
Berkley is the host of Bravo's "Step It Up & Dance," premiering April 3 at 8:00 p.m.
She is joined by Tony award-winning choreographer Jerry Mitchell, who serves as a mentor for the contestants in the reality dance competition.
The Bravo series will

| 'Runway' finalist drops by |
Charleston Post Courier - Charleston, SC, USA
- Jillian Lewis, a finalist on Bravo's "Project Runway," arrived in Charleston on Friday and was beset by an allergy attack, causing a bit of drama inside the runway tent at Marion Square.
"Is she OK? Does she have Benadryl?" an earnestly concerned fashion devotee wondered as an estimated crowd of 1,100 people began arriving for a Charleston Fashion Week show. The second annual event ends today.
The pollen might have been bothersome, but Lewis carried on in true "Project Runway" fashion. The 26-year-old Long Island native spoke fondly of Charleston's friendly people and its "adorable, stylish" women, then talked briefly about matters

| Project Runway Getting Ugly? |
E! Online - USA
- Project Runway winner Christian Siriano has reportedly told media this week that he will make a cameo as—what else?—himself on the hit ABC comedy.
However, an ABC rep says she can't confirm his appearance. "We hear this stuff all the time," the rep said. "Every day it's someone new."
Ugly or not, he's got Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham in his corner. He did a fitting on Wednesday with the fashionista at her L.A.-area home and another with Heidi Klum.
Later that night, Project Runway producer Jane Cha hosted a dinner in his honor at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel with guests including rap artist

| Staff Blog: The Fiercest Fashion Finishes First: 'Project Runway' Season 4 Finale |
|
|
Access Hollywood - USA
- Another stellar season of "Project Runway" came to a close last night, with cocky and flamboyant Christian Siriano, reserved and indecisive Jillian Lewis, and Grecian drape-obsessed and sardonic Rami Kashou battling for style supremacy in a knockdown fashion melee in the middle of Bryant Park.
Before we get to who out chic'd who, lets go over what these style-soldiers were wagging war for?
- A spread in Elle Magazine (unless Nina Garcia hates it)
- A chance to sell your collection on BlueFly.com (I don’t care how many times she says it, but Heidi Klum is not logging on to the internet to

| Christian Siriano Wins "Project Runway" |
Bgay.com - Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA
- Not surprisingly, "fierce" 21-year-old contestant Christian Siriano was crowned winner of "Project Runway" Wednesday night on Bravo's most-watched series ever.
Siriano was named the show's "fan favorite," which netted him $10,000 in addition to the grand prize. He was also clearly the darling of the judges for most of Season 4.
One of the judges, Elle fashion director Nina Garcia, says she sees a great future for Siriano and called him a clear winner. She praised his professionalism on the final show: "He's not going to disappoint. He's got the energy, he's got the stamina."
Victoria Beckham also saluted his collection: "It was

| We Have a Winner! (And Scoop on Project Runway) |
|
E! Online - USA
- Another Runway winner has been crowned! And while it's not Kit "Pistol" Scarbo, whom our sun and moon revolves around here at E! (and yes, I know she was kicked off a while ago), I suppose I can live with the outcome. Maybe.
But even better, we have some fascinating Runway scoop from both the L.A. and NYC PR finale parties that went down last night! And to protect you fools who still haven't seen last night's finale and who don't want to hear who won (I recommend earmuffs, an underwater tank and not coming to sites like these), dish seekers

| 'Project Runway' Does Demo Strut |
|
Multichannel News - New York, NY, USA
- The fourth-season finale of Project Runway became Bravo’s most-watched show ever among adults 18 to 49.
The March 5 concluder, in which Christian Siriano topped finalists Rami Kashou and Jillian Lewis, attracted 3.75 million viewers in the 10 p.m. hour, according to Nielsen Media Research data. That total, improving 9% over the 3.44 million of those watchers that tuned in the series’ third-season finale, trailed only NBC’s Law & Order with the demo last night.
The fourth-season finale drew 5.18 million viewers, down from 5.36 million for the third-season ender.
All told, the premiere runs of the Heidi Klum-vehicle’s fourth-season scored a 4%

| Fitting finish for Project Runway |
Sun-Sentinel.com - Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA
- With Meryl Streep in the front row and Victoria Beckham as a guest judge, Project Runway got down to the business of staging its videotaped finale in the tents of Bryant Park on Friday, the last day of Fashion Week.
Now you're probably wondering which contestants are the final three.
Well, we still don't know. Not really. The producers are more clever than that. They didn't give any hints whether one or two or any of the remaining contestants would be eliminated and edited out of the finale.
All we know is that Kathleen "Sweet P" Vaughn, Chris March, Jillian Lewis, Rami Kashou

| 'Project Runway' takes over catwalk |
|
New York Daily News - New York, NY, USA
- The motto of "Project Runway" is, we know, "make it work." The five contestants who showed collections today at Bryant Park all (well, mostly) did that.
And they did it before an audience filled, no shocker, with a constellation of "Runway" stars, including past winners Jay McCarroll, Chloe Dao and Jeffrey Sebelia.
Also on hand were competitors from past seasons including Laura "I've got my look and I'm sticking to it" Bennett and Nick Verreos, dashing in sky blue doublebreasted, season 4 designers who've already been called "out" and a veritable brood of Bravo talent - Tyson, Niki, Padma, Ted. I'm not
