Danielle Fishel to cover beauty & fashion on 'The Dish'
New York Daily News - New York,NY,USA - Danielle Fischel, host of the Style Network's new show "The Dish," said she can dish the dirt on others as easily as she can diss herself.

"If I wasn't as self-deprecating as I am, what I say on the show may come off as bitchy or catty, but that has never been my intention - and I don't have a catty bone in my body," Fishel told the Daily News.

"It's all in good fun."

"The Dish," premiering Saturday night at 10, is executive-produced by the team behind E!'s "The Soup" and will use a similar clip-show format.

'Project Runway' gets one more season on Bravo
SouthCoastToday.com - New Bedford, MA, USA - OK, "Project Runway" fans, it's official: You're in for a "PR"-heavy 2008.

Bravo executives confirmed last week that the hit fashion competition would return for its fifth season in July on that network before strutting over to its new home on Lifetime, on which Season 6 is scheduled to air in late November.

The news was announced at Bravo's up-front breakfast, held at Craft, the Flatiron restaurant owned by "Top Chef's" Tom Colicchio. Bravo President Lauren Zalaznick said the network was in the best shape it had ever been.

"Ours is not a comeback story," she said. "Ours is a story of absolute

A Chat with 'Step It Up's' Elizabeth Berkley and Jerry Mitchell
Monsters and Critics.com - USA - Bravo does reality television with panache and intelligence.  Fans of "Top Chef" and "Project Runway" can attest to this.

Now, the stunning actress and trained dancer, Elizabeth Berkley, once known for her role as "Jessie" on the classic TV series "Saved By the Bell," claims her new dance show follows suit and replicates the higher standards of the other Bravo efforts.

Berkley is the host of Bravo's "Step It Up & Dance," premiering April 3 at 8:00 p.m.

She is joined by Tony award-winning choreographer Jerry Mitchell, who serves as a mentor for the contestants in the reality dance competition.

'Runway' finalist drops by
Charleston Post Courier - Charleston, SC, USA - Jillian Lewis, a finalist on Bravo's "Project Runway," arrived in Charleston on Friday and was beset by an allergy attack, causing a bit of drama inside the runway tent at Marion Square.

"Is she OK? Does she have Benadryl?" an earnestly concerned fashion devotee wondered as an estimated crowd of 1,100 people began arriving for a Charleston Fashion Week show. The second annual event ends today.

The pollen might have been bothersome, but Lewis carried on in true "Project Runway" fashion. The 26-year-old Long Island native spoke fondly of Charleston's friendly people and its "adorable, stylish" women, then talked briefly about matters

Project Runway Getting Ugly?
E! Online - USA - Project Runway winner Christian Siriano has reportedly told media this week that he will make a cameo as—what else?—himself on the hit ABC comedy.

However, an ABC rep says she can't confirm his appearance. "We hear this stuff all the time," the rep said. "Every day it's someone new."

Ugly or not, he's got Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham in his corner. He did a fitting on Wednesday with the fashionista at her L.A.-area home and another with Heidi Klum.

Later that night, Project Runway producer Jane Cha hosted a dinner in his honor at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel with guests including rap artist

Staff Blog: The Fiercest Fashion Finishes First: 'Project Runway' Season 4 Finale
Access Hollywood - USA - Another stellar season of "Project Runway" came to a close last night, with cocky and flamboyant Christian Siriano, reserved and indecisive Jillian Lewis, and Grecian drape-obsessed and sardonic Rami Kashou battling for style supremacy in a knockdown fashion melee in the middle of Bryant Park.

Before we get to who out chic'd who, lets go over what these style-soldiers were wagging war for?

- A spread in Elle Magazine (unless Nina Garcia hates it)
- A chance to sell your collection on BlueFly.com (I don’t care how many times she says it, but Heidi Klum is not logging on to the internet to

Christian Siriano Wins "Project Runway"
Bgay.com - Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA - Not surprisingly, "fierce" 21-year-old contestant Christian Siriano was crowned winner of "Project Runway" Wednesday night on Bravo's most-watched series ever.

Siriano was named the show's "fan favorite," which netted him $10,000 in addition to the grand prize. He was also clearly the darling of the judges for most of Season 4.

One of the judges, Elle fashion director Nina Garcia, says she sees a great future for Siriano and called him a clear winner. She praised his professionalism on the final show: "He's not going to disappoint. He's got the energy, he's got the stamina."

Victoria Beckham also saluted his collection: "It was

We Have a Winner! (And Scoop on Project Runway)
E! Online - USA - Another Runway winner has been crowned! And while it's not Kit "Pistol" Scarbo, whom our sun and moon revolves around here at E! (and yes, I know she was kicked off a while ago), I suppose I can live with the outcome. Maybe.

But even better, we have some fascinating Runway scoop from both the L.A. and NYC PR finale parties that went down last night! And to protect you fools who still haven't seen last night's finale and who don't want to hear who won (I recommend earmuffs, an underwater tank and not coming to sites like these), dish seekers

'Project Runway' Does Demo Strut
Multichannel News - New York, NY, USA - The fourth-season finale of Project Runway became Bravo’s most-watched show ever among adults 18 to 49.

The March 5 concluder, in which Christian Siriano topped finalists Rami Kashou and Jillian Lewis, attracted 3.75 million viewers in the 10 p.m. hour, according to Nielsen Media Research data. That total, improving 9% over the 3.44 million of those watchers that tuned in the series’ third-season finale, trailed only NBC’s Law & Order with the demo last night.

The fourth-season finale drew 5.18 million viewers, down from 5.36 million for the third-season ender.

All told, the premiere runs of the Heidi Klum-vehicle’s fourth-season scored a 4%

Fitting finish for Project Runway
Sun-Sentinel.com - Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA - With Meryl Streep in the front row and Victoria Beckham as a guest judge, Project Runway got down to the business of staging its videotaped finale in the tents of Bryant Park on Friday, the last day of Fashion Week.

Now you're probably wondering which contestants are the final three.

Well, we still don't know. Not really. The producers are more clever than that. They didn't give any hints whether one or two or any of the remaining contestants would be eliminated and edited out of the finale.

All we know is that Kathleen "Sweet P" Vaughn, Chris March, Jillian Lewis, Rami Kashou

'Project Runway' takes over catwalk
New York Daily News - New York, NY, USA - The motto of "Project Runway" is, we know, "make it work." The five contestants who showed collections today at Bryant Park all (well, mostly) did that.

And they did it before an audience filled, no shocker, with a constellation of "Runway" stars, including past winners Jay McCarroll, Chloe Dao and Jeffrey Sebelia.

Also on hand were competitors from past seasons including Laura "I've got my look and I'm sticking to it" Bennett and Nick Verreos, dashing in sky blue doublebreasted, season 4 designers who've already been called "out" and a veritable brood of Bravo talent - Tyson, Niki, Padma, Ted. I'm not

Extra! Extra! Project Runway’s Jack Mackenroth Goes on a Date
Jossip - New York, NY, USA - This, the fourth season of Project Runway, will be over before this winter heat wave. (Oops, there it went!) And whoever wins, whether it’s Rami, Christian, or that annoying brunette, will be forever lost to pop culture, showing up only at Lizzie Grubman events for a WireImage photo, just like the casts before them.

But not Jack! Mr. Mackenroth – who we know more intimately than other PR contestants, both in the flesh (NSFW) and in the know – has himself his own personal PR agency.

Michael Rogers PR has been assigned the task, and cashed the retainer cheque, to keep Jack’s

‘Project Runway’ Finale: Posh Sees Clear Winner
TV Envy - Seattle, WA, USA - Project Runway: Season 4 fanatics will have to wait a few more weeks to find out which designer won the big prize. But people who saw the remaining contestants’ final runway shows on the last day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City say it should be well worth the wait.

The only spoiler provided in the Bryant Park tents Friday was who will serve as the season finale guest judge: Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham.

The 1000 or so fashionistas in the crowd are none the wiser on who the finalists actually are.  Since there are still two more episodes before

'Project Runway' top 5 make their NY Fashion Week debut
Dallas Morning News - Dallas, TX, USA - "Let's start the show!" Heidi Klum announced Friday, after posing for pictures with fellow judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia and guest judge Victoria Beckham. Once Meryl Streep found her seat, the lights dimmed and designer Sweet P's silhouette appeared behind the runway's backdrop. (Wait – Meryl Streep? Project Runway? Is this show that big, or is the writers strike getting out of hand?)

The Project Runway fashion show was the hottest ticket of Fashion Week, blending the worlds of couture, entertainment and television with spectacular 15-minutes-of-fame results.

"It's fun, it's sexy, it's exciting, and it sells clothes," executive producer Harvey Weinstein

Fierce Competition: 'Project Runway 4' films runway finale
Victoria Beckham
Springfield News Sun - Springfield, OH, USA - For Victoria Beckham, there was a clear winner at the "Project Runway" show Friday at New York Fashion Week. But she wasn't telling who.

Beckham is a guest judge for the two-part finale, which airs Feb. 27 and March 5.

"That one person really made me smile," she said. "Everything I saw, I would wear myself."

Five remaining contestants — Christian Siriano, Rami Kashou, Jillian Lewis, Chris March and Kathleen "Sweet P" Vaughn — presented collections to a celebrity-studded audience.

"It's going to be very, very hard for us to judge them today," said host Heidi Klum.

But much like the fourth season of Bravo's

Bryant Park showdown: The 'Project Runway' finals
Los Angeles Times - CA, USA - You’d be hard-pressed to find a giddier crowd than the one that was packed into the main tent in Bryant Park this morning for “Project Runway’s” finalist fashion show. Sleekly coiffed women in black and men in sharp-angled suits craned their necks as they checked out the other attendees, which included some apparently well-connected adults’ lucky offspring, who didn’t even try to mask their glee.

“That’s Tyson Beckford!” one young girl exclaimed breathlessly, catching sight of the model and Bravo host. “Oh. My. God. Wait -- is it?” Her voice came down an octave, then rose again. “Yes! It is! Tyson

Posh Spice judges 'Project Runway'
New York Daily News - New York, NY, USA - They made it work.

Five "Project Runway" contestants who achieved the dream of showing a collection on the Bryant Park catwalks Friday presented their lines before a breathless crowd.

The Bravo reality show contestants arrived for an 8:45 a.m. check-in and were joined by past "Runway" winners Jay McCarroll, Chloe Dao and Jeffrey Sebelia.

Mingling with the small-screen couturiers were huge celebs like movie goddess Meryl Streep, Lindsay Price of "Lipstick Jungle" and - wait for it - guest judge Victoria (Posh Spice) Beckham.

"This is so exciting," host Heidi Klum said in kicking off the extravaganza. "There are superfast beating hearts backstage. Let's

Project Runway: If losers are showing at NY Fashion Week, why are we watching?
Los Angeles Times - CA, USA - "You're out," trills Heidi Klum and we watch the rejected designer's eyes shimmer like sequins, as the tears start. Well, guess what? Nina Garcia--with her perfectly tanned shins--and Michaels Kors ("It looks farty!") may be doing a burgeoning clothier a favor when they hand over a pink slip.

Two dumped designers from the current season--Elisa Jimenez and Victorya Hong--surfaced at NY Fashion Week and presented veritable shows. Maybe not at Bryant Park, but they still received coverage.

No matter how their shows are received, we now know that even the losers can claim the prize awarded to the so-called winner. (Project Runway

Mood Designer Fabrics feed dreams on 'Project Runway'

But regardless of who makes the cut, one thing's for sure: They'll never run out of material.

Project Runway: Raw Talent
TV Squad - Santa Monica, CA, USA - In one of the classiest moves in Project Runway history, the designers faced the challenge of creating outfits for the WWE Raw Divas to wear in the ring. When I heard the angry grunts and sounds of lady-violence behind the door, I thought they were going to face roller derby girls or something. The Divas were cool anyway, offering the designers a chance to get really crazy and maybe a little sleazy.

The designers seemed rather horrified when they saw their new clients, which was quite amusing, but not as amusing as the reactions (or lack thereof, save for Tim Gunn's

What2Watch: Project Runway Taxis Toward Fashion Week
Film.com - Seattle, WA, USA - Project Runway took a break last week, as the show works to time its final few episodes for Fashion Week, which is currently taking place. Tonight (Bravo, 10 PM) this most female-friendly of reality shows gets an injection of testosterone when the final six design for the ladies of the WWE.

I was among those who thought this season got off to an iffy start. The designers seemed to be the usual mix of talents and hacks, but except for the flamboyant Christian, the personalities took a long time to establish themselves, and there was no obvious antagonist along the lines

Project Runway Season 4, Episode 10: Wrestling with Fashion
Bostonist - Boston, MA, USA - This week's Project Runway made us think one thing and one thing only: Britney Spears totally has a career in professional wrestling if she makes it out of the hospital (which, apparently, she just did). The runway challenge this week was to design an outfit for a female professional wrestler in the WWE. Some designers took the challenge to heart and ran with the campy sexuality of it all, while others were blinded by the sequins and rhinestones and came up with poor imitations of real wrestling outfits.

"Oh, s---," was the first thought that ran through Jillian's head when told

Project Runway: Episode 4.10, "Raw Talent" Live Thoughts
BuddyTV - USA - We were left hanging last Wednesday, as Bravo did not air a new episode of Project Runway.  On the last episode, Victorya was sent home after putting a denim design on the runway that was less than stellar.  Tonight, the remaining designers will work with unexpected clients (WWE wrestlers) to create a fantasy and use their designs to tell a story.  I'm really interested to see Christian team up with the WWE.  That's a funny mental image!  It's a race to that finals and this Friday, I'll be in New York covering Fashion Week and that final runway show.  Can't

'Project Runway' Host Stands Up for Fashion Industry
BuddyTV - USA - German supermodel Heidi Klum, host of Bravo's hit reality series, Project Runway, recently came to the defense of the fashion industry following claims that it promotes eating disorders in young women.

Klum said that it is important for the audience to remember that what they see on runway shows is just a presentation, and often cannot be applied in real life.

"It's up to the viewer to see it for what it is and to be realistic; not many people can look like this,” Heidi Klum said.  "Everyone has to look in the mirror and say, 'This is who I am' and
