Firefighter Wins $1 Mil on American Inventor
People Magazine - USA - Firefighter Gregg Chavez made a burning dream come true Wednesday night when he pocketed a $1 million check after winning ABC's American Inventor.

The California father-of-six won the top prize when the Guardian Angel fire suppressor he has spent more than a decade developing beat a backless brassiere and a custom toy kit to triumph in the show's season finale.

First Alert president Tom Russo said he would work with Chavez to make his invention a household product.

TV Squad - Santa Monica, CA, USA - Last night, this summer's winner of ABC's American Inventor was crowned. Firefighter Greg Chavez's invention, Guardian Angel, was voted by Americans as the best invention out of the Top 3 selected by the judges.

Greg Chavez crowned the winner of ABC's 'American Inventor 2'
Reality TV World - Mansfield, MA, USA - Greg Chavez, who created the Guardian Angel automatic Christmas tree fire extinguisher kit, was revealed to be American Inventor's second-season champ during last night's finale of the ABC reality competition series.

The firefighter and father from Camarillo, CA was awarded American Inventor 2's $1,000,000 cash prize as the show's winner based on viewer votes cast after last week's penultimate episode.

Greg Chavez Named Winner Of 'American Inventor'
BuddyTV - USA - On last night's finale of ABC's American Inventor, firefighter Greg Chavez was named the winner for his Guardian Angel invention.  His idea for the Guardian Angel Christmas Tree fire suppression system first came to him fifteen years ago after seeing on the news that a christmas tree fire had claimed the life of a young child.  Chavez said he could never get the image of the father carrying his child out of the burning home and vowed to make sure nothing like that ever happened again.

American Inventor Winner Is Greg Chavez
