NIKKI SIXX: 'MÖTLEY CRÜE Has Not Signed Any Deals' - Feb. 11, 2008
Blabbermouth.net - White Plains, NY, USA - MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx has denied that the band has signed a $100-million-plus mega-deal with the giant Live Nation entertainment conglomerate.

"MÖTLEY CRÜE has not signed any deals," Nikki said in a statement. "Any information reported to the contrary is false and misleading."

The news of a supposed MÖTLEY CRÜE/Live Nation deal was reported earlier today by Robin Leach via his blog "Vegas Luxe Life with Robin Leach". The alleged deal was to cover three albums and three world tours, including no less than 169 concert dates as part of the first global journey.

"We'll actually have been together for 37 years

Olbermann takes on Clinton
The Carpetbagger Report - USA - Many of us have come to enjoy MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann’s ‘Special Comments,” not only because they tend to highlight the outrages of the Bush administration in stark and powerful terms, but also because Olbermann has a tendency to say things no one else in television news is willing to say. When Olbermann gets into high dudgeon about torture, Iraq, or telecom immunity, it gives voice to a perspective that broadcast audiences simply never hear.

But last night, Olbermann went in a slightly different direction — he challenged Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign in a surprisingly forceful way.

The impetus for Olbermann’s outrage was

Elisabeth Hasselbeck: David Hernandez 'Idol' ouster a "conspiracy"
Reality TV World - Mansfield, MA, USA - Elisabeth Hasselbeck apparently thinks there's more behind David Hernandez's American Idol seventh-season ouster than just a lack of home viewer votes for the former male stripper.

"My mind went, 'You know what?  This is a conspiracy," said Hasselbeck during Thursday morning's live The View broadcast on ABC.  "American Idol maybe didn't want to deal with the fact that he had this shady -- so-called -- past and they blocked all of his phone calls of people voting for him.'"

Hasselbeck's fellow The View co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar weren't necessarily buying what the former Survivor: The Australian Outback castaway was selling.

"They

Whoopi Goldberg seems sad over being left out of a montage of Oscar hosts
Boston Herald - United States - Whoopi Goldberg seemed sad and choked up on "The View" Monday when her fellow co-hosts discussed how she was not included in a montage featuring Oscar hosts during the Academy Awards telecast.

The 52-year-old Goldberg has received two Oscar nominations, winning for her role as Oda Mae Brown in 1990’s "Ghost." She hosted the event in 1994, 1996, 1999 and 2002. She did, however, appear as an Oscar winner in a separate montage Sunday night.

Goldberg appeared stumped that the academy would leave her out of the one clip, as well as repeat host Steve Martin.

"Maybe they accidentally lost a clip of

Tyra Banks
Entertainment Weekly - USA - The statuesque beauty holding court in front of her studio audience on a recent January morning in New York City is ready for anything. Banks, styled in a formfitting white dress, breezily rejects the claim that the relocation of her eponymous talk show — and her hit reality show, America's Next Top Model — has anything to do with her love life.
