JC Penney Goes Hollywood
Brandweek Magazine - New York, NY, USA - JC Penney has taken its message to the movies. This past weekend, the department store chain broke two, 60-second in-cinema spots on 12,000 screens at about 1,400 theatres nationwide, its first venture into the medium. After the movies, theater representatives handed out fliers directing consumers to the nearest J.C. Penney’s location as well as a Web site where they can view the ad spots they saw in theatres.
