Hudson was quoted online as saying of her success, “…with Weight Watchers, I am enjoying the weight loss because I’m doing it the right way–I feel empowered with what I’ve learned…” Hudson has also revealed in an interview that her healthy habits have inspired her fiancé David Otunga. She gave birth to a baby boy on August 10, 2009.

BY Robert Dominguez, New York Daily News - He may not end up as thin as a Festivus pole, but former "Seinfeld" star Jason Alexander plans to drop a load of pounds as the new spokesman for weight-loss company Jenny Craig.

Alexander, who played the portly George Costanza on the hit 90s sitcom, decided to try the Jenny Craig program after watching himself in a recent "Curb Your Enthusiasm" episode — and hating what he saw.

Weekley makes fashion splash, hoists Ryder Cup at PGA Merchandise Show
PGA.com - USA - Boo Weekley, a standout performer in the 37th Ryder Cup, made an impact in his first celebrity appearance at the 56th PGA Merchandise Show.

Weekley joined PGA of America officers and CEO Joe Steranka to open the largest golf exhibition on the balcony of the main entrance at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

Weekley first used an air horn to get the attention of thousands of attendees, then hoisted the Ryder Cup trophy to a rousing wave of cheers.

Will Beckham be welcomed at the Revolution August 8?
Examiner.com - USA - Luckily for the box office at Gillette, the Revolution is one of David Beckham’s few remaining away games before he bails out of MLS and flies back to Milan. Crispin's Miller Finale Intros 'Commish'
Adweek - New York, NY, USA - Crispin Porter + Bogusky's final campaign for Miller Lite introduces the More Taste League, chaired by a character called the Commish, portrayed by John C. McGinley, known for his sarcastic character Dr. Perry Cox from the NBC sitcom Scrubs.

AHN - USA - Beyonce Knowles is American Express' latest celebrity spokesperson. The singer-and-actress, who filmed a commercial for the credit card company in New York this week, will be promoting American Express gold and platinum cards.

Beyonce follows in the footsteps of Hollywood stars Kate Winslet, Robert DeNiro and Ellen DeGeneres and golf superstar Tiger Woods who were all previously American Express spokespeople.

Reese Witherspoon's new role: Avon rep
Reese Witherspoon
United Press International - USA - Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon is an Avon Lady, becoming the company's first Global Ambassador, Avon Products announced at its New York headquarters.

In the newly established role, Witherspoon will be the honorary chairwoman of the Avon Foundation, which focuses on breast cancer, domestic violence and emergency relief initiatives, the company said Wednesday in a news release.

Witherspoon will serve as the spokeswoman for Avon's beauty brands as well as be involved in product development and be featured in Avon advertising, Web sites and marketing collateral.
