Chef Michael Ruhlman lends talent to Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital benefit
By Shannon Donnelly , Palm Beach Daily News - It was a homecoming of sorts for celebrity chef, author and semi-Palm Beach kid Michael Ruhlman.

Ruhlman, the son of Palm Beach resident Carole Ruhlman and the husband of former Shiny Sheet photographer Donna Turner, was the special guest at a reception to benefit Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland.

Twilight on the Terrace took place March 25 at the home of Madeleine Parker and honored the hospital’s Circle of Friends donors.

The evening began with poolside cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a demonstration of Ruhlman’s culinary prowess and a signed cookbook for each guest.

Sayers keynote speaker at event

WNDU-TV - NBA legend, Earvin Magic Johnson wasthe keynote speaker at a fundraiser for the Benton Harbor School District Sunday night.

Johnson spoke at 6:30 at Lake Michigan College.

Kolzig to be speaker for Tri-Citian of Year event
By the Herald staff, - Olie "the Goalie" Kolzig will be the keynote speaker at the Tri-Citian of the Year event April 30 in Pasco.

A native of South Africa, Kolzig is a retired professional hockey goaltender who was one of the original players for the Tri-City Americans. He is now a co-owner of the team.

He played 14 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Washington Capitals and Tampa Bay Lightning.
