| Wolfgang Puck to Open Ritz-Carlton Restaurant |

- DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES - Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck will add to his L.A. Live presence with a new restaurant set to open inside the Ritz-Carlton, the hotel announced today.
The chef, who also runs the Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill at the $2.5 billion L.A. Live in South Park, will open WP24 by Wolfgang Puck on the 24th floor of the hotel. The restaurant will feature Asian fare, a wine cave and two private dining rooms.

- Celebrity chefs are increasingly crossing over into the steakhouse market, including a high-end meatery run by Wolfgang Puck in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Puck's steakhouse, Cut, has been sold out nearly every night since it opened one year ago, USA Today reported Friday. Observers credit the success of Cut, as well as Emeril Lagasse's Delmonico Steakhouse in Las Vegas and Bobby Flay's Bobby Flay Steak in Atlantic City, N.J., to their female-friendly environments, selection of gourmet side-dishes and unusual architecture.
