I.O. Metro will celebrate its debut inside the Lawrenceville shopping plaza Tuesday, with Yip on hand from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. to greet customers and offer design advice.

Yip hosts his own show, “Deserving Design with Vern Yip,” on HGTV and also appears in the prime time series “HGTV Design Star.” He plans to launch a new TV special, “Urban Oasis,” this fall.
