Venus Williams now NY Times best-selling author
ESPN - Venus Williams thinks she's too young to have a bucket list.

"Shouldn't I really be older to have that?" said the 30-year-old Williams, who has won 21 Grand Slam titles and three Olympic gold medals. "I've been living a dream on the court and now I'm doing things off the court."

Like writing a New York Times best seller.

Williams tackled her first book, "Come to Win: Business Leaders, Artists, Doctors and Other Visionaries on How Sports Can Help You Top Your Profession," which debuted at No. 5 last week.

"OK, maybe I wasn't ever thinking of writing a New York Times best seller!

Venus, Serena reclaiming their dominance
USA Today - USA - The Williams buzz is back, thanks to the power of two.

With victories in two of three Grand Slams this year, Venus and Serena Williams are reclaiming their dominance in the game they ruled from 2000-2003. Even rivals say women's tennis is better for it.

How's that for the power of two?

"Every day they are active and visible in tennis, the sport is stronger," tennis legend and women's rights pioneer Billie Jean King says. "They have the 'it' factor, and people want to see that and will always support it."

Venus and Serena have always generated attention. Who could not find something compelling

Venus Williams triumphs at Wimbledon for fourth time
Ha'aretz - Tel Aviv, Israel - Venus Williams won tennis' most prestigious tournament for the fourth time yesterday, beating surprising finalist Marion Bartoli 6-4, 6-1.

It was Williams' sixth Grand Slam title, and her first since winning Wimbledon in 2005. She was also the champion at the All England Club in 2000 and 2001.

At No. 31, Williams became the lowest-ranked women's winner in Wimbledon history. Plagued in recent years by injuries that sent her ranking sliding, she rediscovered her championship form this week on the surface that always seems to inspire her best efforts.

"It has been a long road back," Williams said during the trophy ceremony. "I

Wimbledon - Venus salutes Billie Jean King
Yahoo! Eurosport - London,UK - Williams boosted her bank balance by a cool £700,000 ($1.41 million) after winning her fourth title at the All England Club but rather than the amount itself, she was delighted that women competitors had finally won the battle for equal pay.

"She's done so much for women's tennis and I wouldn't behere without her and thank you to the All England Club forplaying under equal terms."
