| Quincy Jones tells UW grads to take chances |

- University of Washington commencement speaker Quincy Jones urged thousands of graduates Saturday to travel the world, learn languages and take chances in life.
"On this day, I will mend a quarrel. I will search out a forgotten friend," he asked the graduates to repeat.
"I will dismiss a suspicion and replace it with trust."
The accomplished musician and producer shared his 75 years of wisdom at the UW's 133rd commencement ceremony under a sunny sky at Husky Stadium.
In doing so before about 4,100 graduates who attended, he recalled his childhood in Chicago, Bremerton and Seattle.

| The Pussycat Dolls present their new lingerie collection in LA |

- Sexy singing group the Pussycat Dolls turned up the heat at L.A. Fashion Week last night, drawing front-row guests such as Dr. Dre, Sean "Puffy" Combs and Quincy Jones at their debut fashion show.
The music moguls and other stars attended the unveiling of the Pussycat Dolls' "...shhh" lingerie collection at Culver City's Smashbox Studios.
Combs said backstage he was friends with the burlesque-inspired group and came "in support."
Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin called the line's frilly, leopard-print, striped and sailor-themed lingerie "feminine and edgy."
She said the collection was inspired by punk-rock music and old-fashioned pinup girls.
