Michelle Obama in Reno to Help Boost Reid; Speak
KOLO - RENO, Nev. (AP) - Senate Majority Harry Reid  says he knows he has his work cut out for him to win re-election but he says he's comfortable with the fact the people of Nevada know him pretty well.

The Democratic leader says he hosted First Lady Michelle Obama at a conference on women and children's issues in Reno on Tuesday because she has been such an important influence on the country.
The two were headed to Las Vegas later in the day.

First Lady Tells Grads to Keep Giving
ABC News (blog) - ABC News' Mallory Thompson reports:

“Pomp and Circumstance” echoed down the National Mall today as thousands gathered for George Washington University’s commencement.  This year, graduates welcomed a special keynote speaker – First Lady Michelle Obama.

Mrs. Obama agreed to be the University’s commencement speaker – with a catch.  Students had to complete 100,000 hours of community service in return.  Last month, the University announced they had reached the goal, and as of today, they had completed more than 163,000 hours.
