Osmond has enjoyed an illustrious career in show business and as a businesswoman and is the co-founder of the Children's Miracle Network. Her Marie Osmond dolls are the top-selling line of dolls on QVC. She will speak to 35-hundred attendees about her life in the public spotlight.

The Central California Women's Conference is the largest conference of its kind in the Valley and the fifth largest in the state. The event will be held Tuesday, September 14th at the Fresno Convention Center.

Gaston Gazette - Gastonia, NC, USA - Millions watched “Dancing With the Stars” last fall and saw “Beverly Hills 90210” star Jennie Garth and entertainer Marie Osmond get in shape while learning upbeat dances like the samba and paso doble.

Now, dozens of area residents, hoping for similar results, are frequenting the Gastonia Parks & Recreation Department’s CardioDance, a multi-level class emphasizing complete body toning and workout, to practice similar dance steps and more.

“Out-of-the-box” workouts like dancing are this year’s top fitness trend, according to the American Council on Exercise. There’s good reason for that, said CardioDance instructor Judy Blankenship.

ABC 4 - Salt Lake City, USA - Marie Osmond is joining the fight against heart disease in women. Osmond recently joined the American Heart Association's "Choose to Move" program after the free 12 week program showed dramatic results in the health of seven women.

Now Osmond has pledged to go through the program herself. She cites her family history of heart disease and the loss of her mother to a stroke in 2004 as her motivation.

"I saw my mother go through a terrible stroke...and I thought about it and ya know we're smarter than that we know more it's just a matter of doing it," says Osmond.
