CBS eyes 'Man' for midseason
Hollywood Reporter - United States - CBS is close to picking up the LL Cool J-starring drama "The Man" for midseason with a six-episode order, sources said.

"Man," from "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" creator Anthony Zuiker, was shot as a pilot presentation this past development season. It didn't make the cut in May but remained in contention for midseason.

"CSI: NY" showrunners Pam Veasey and Peter Lenkov are in talks to come aboard the show to run it.

LL COOL J Will Play Reggae Sumfest
RAPWEEKLY.COM - Scottsdale, AZ, USA - Rap superstar LL COOL J has decided he will perform at a Jamaican reggae festival this summer - four days after event organisers announced he was cancelling his appearance.

Organisers of the 15th Annual Red Stripe Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay released a statement on Friday (08Jun07) stating that the Hush star - real name James Todd Smith - had pulled out of his scheduled performance, due to take place in July (07).
