Gordon Ramsay dishes about 'Hell's Kitchen's upcoming sixth edition
Reality TV World - Mansfield,MA,USA - Gordon Ramsay promises Hell's Kitchen's upcoming sixth season will include all the "tantrums and rollercoasters" viewers are accustomed to, but added the talent of the culinary contestants has "raised the bar.

"It's possibly the most demanding in terms of frustration level, but I think we've got some exceptional chefs, which may turn out to be a bit of a surprise I think," Ramsay told reporters during a Wednesday conference call.

"I think the standard of chefs across the board is far greater... We've been a lot more creative in terms of the challenges and there have been a few twists."

Hell's Kitchen: Episode 4.4 Predictions
BuddyTV - Seattle, WA, USA - On the last episode of Hell's Kitchen 4, Gordon Ramsay kicked off Jason for general incompetence.

However, that doesn't really make this job of predicting who could go next any easier: there's a lot of incompetence to go around, as is usual on Hell's Kitchen.

Which chefs seem likely to falter once again in the pressure-cooker environment of the kitchen as we head into the fourth episode in this season of Hell's Kitchen?

Vanessa showed in the first episode that she has a good palate and can make food that Ramsay enjoys eating. However, she seems to really be struggling with the actual

'Hell's Kitchen's Gordon Ramsay swears he doesn't like cursing
New York Daily News - New York, NY, USA - This may come as a shock to anyone who has watched celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay turn red with anger and explode into a fit of expletives directed at his kitchen staff and customers alike, but the "Hell's Kitchen" host doesn't like to curse. Honestly.

"That may sound slightly bizarre, but trust me, it's not my fault entirely," Gordon explained. "It's the industry's language, and any chef would be a hypocrite if they didn't admit to swearing in the kitchen.

"It's something I'm not proud of; every time [I do it] I get reminded of that by my mother."

"Hell's Kitchen" returns April 1

'Hell's Kitchen' star Gordon Ramsay dishes about the fourth season
Reality TV World - Mansfield, MA, USA - Consider Gordon Ramsay among those fired up about Hell's Kitchen's fourth installment -- the first edition to premiere before the show's usual summer programming season.

"I'm very excited about Season 4, more so than any other year before.  When you look at the setup in terms of the level of professionalism, this year we've raised the bar," Ramsay told reporters during a Monday conference call.

Unlike earlier editions, Hell's Kitchen's fourth-season cast will be competing for an executive chef position in one of Ramsay's own restaurants -- The London West Hollywood.

"Looking for a chef personally is something I've stood by, got very

Here are the new contestants for the next Hell's Kitchen
TV Squad - Santa Monica, CA, USA - Even though you can't tell from the FOX web site, which still has information about last season, a new season of Hell's Kitchen starts on April 1 at 9pm.

And this time the winner gets a job at one of Gordon Ramsay's own restaurants! The lucky contestant will become Executive Chef at the new The London West Hollywood, which is slated to open this summer.

That's not the only twist we'll see this season. We'll also see more contestants (15) and more dinner service than we've seen in the Hell's Kitchen restaurant in the previous three seasons. I sense that this means

Head Chef Talks About Working in 'Hell's Kitchen'
BuddyTV - USA - Hell's Kitchen is popularly known for featuring wannabe chefs as they go through a culinary boot camp under volatile British master chef Gordon Ramsay.  While all the flaring continues on the reality show, Josh Emmet, chef de cuisine at Gordon Ramsay at The London, dishes out what's it really like to be working for a boss with a notorious reputation.

There's No Room For Politeness in 'Hell's Kitchen'
BuddyTV - USA - Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has gained much notoriety for his callous treatment of participants in the reality series, Hell’s Kitchen.  Since the show’s debut in 2005, viewers have born witness to Ramsay’s explosive temper and often expletive-laden criticism.  In his defense, the Scotland-born chef told TVGuide that when things aren’t going so well in the kitchen, there are only two ways to handle it: his way or “the soft way.”

"To me, it's far better to reprimand the cook and say, 'Wake up and get it or you'll be flipping… burgers for a… living!' I mean, can you imagine being polite

'Hell's Kitchen' star Gordon Ramsay can't imagine being polite
Reality TV World - Mansfield, MA, USA - Top Chef judge and restaurateur Tom Colicchio might not be a big fan of the profanity-laced matter in which Gordon Ramsay deals with his Hell's Kitchen contestants, but the Fox reality show star can't envision handling things any other way.

"When I'm in the kitchen, and the s**t is hitting the fan, there are two ways you can handle things: My way or the soft way," said Ramsay in the July 23 issue of TV Guide.  "To me, it's far better to reprimand the cook and say, 'Wake up and get it or you'll be flipping f**king burgers for a f**king

Hell's Kitchen, Top Chef, Next Food Network Star Duke It Out
TV with MeeVee - Burlingame, CA, USA - Variety is running head-to-head reviews of "Hell's Kitchen" and "Top Chef," but they've ignored a strong contender in "The Next Food Network Star." Hosted by Food Network giants including Paula Deen and Giada de Laurentis, "Star" hasn't got the audience share that Hell's Kitchen or Top Chef do, but it's still doing quite well. One advantage, a commenter at Duckyxdale points out, is that the players know they need to be likeable if they're going to succeed as TV chefs, so the show is short on backstabbing and long on food.

GordonramsayOf course, if you tune in just for the backstabbing,
