Blythe Danner to guest star on 'Medium'

United Press International - U.S. actress Blythe Danner is to guest star on the supernatural TV drama "Medium," NBC announced.

The Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actress, who is also Gwyneth Paltrow's mom, is to play Sarah Leaming, "a local councilman's wife and mother to a missing private nurse, whose extraordinary dedication to her chronically ill stepdaughter's care led to some unconventional measures."

The casting decision was announced Thursday by executive producer Glenn Gordon Caron.
