Exclusive Interview with 'Baby Mama' Star Amy Poehler
About - News & Issues - New York, NY, USA - “Amy Poehler’s Having Tina Fey’s Child” reads like a headline of a story the two funny ladies would have dished on during their old Weekend Update segments on Saturday Night Live. But it’s actually the plot of the female-driven comedy film Baby Mama from Universal Pictures. Fey stars as a career-obsessed woman ready but unable to be a mother. Poehler plays the gum-chewing, party-going, Wii-loving slacker who’s willing to endure nine months of pregnancy for a price.

Poehler and Fey have known each other since 1993, and Poehler says being able to do this movie together was pretty much a dream

Going for Belly Laughs
Wall Street Journal - USA - Amy Poehler is proving that you don't have to leave "Saturday Night Live" to make it big outside the show. The comic has a starring role in an upcoming feature film, a producing deal on a new cartoon that she created, and roles in three other films out this year in addition to her weekly presence on the show's faux news segment "Weekend Update."

Traditionally, "SNL" players exit the show when they're hot to become movie or sitcom stars. That strategy worked nicely for ex-"SNL" cast members Tina Fey and Will Ferrell. But others, like Rachel Dratch, are still finding their

There May Be Cracks, But The Comedy Glass Ceiling Still Exists For Women
Starpulse.com - Branford, CT, USA - In this town (Los Angeles) and this industry (entertainment), there are a handful of strong, intelligent, funny women who - once they finally broke onto the radar - have worked consistently in equally strong, intelligent, funny roles.

After reading this month's "Who Says Women Aren't Funny" issue of Vanity Fair, it is impossible not to notice just how many beyond the current "it" girls of comedy were left off that list (which included funnygirls such as Tina Fey, Sarah Silverman and Amy Poehler). This is an attempt to rectify that and garner them the recognition they so rightly deserve.

Celebs lead high life in the Hamptons
USA Today - USA - A whole lot of uptown girls grooved to Billy Joel Saturday night.

Renee Zellweger, Kelly Ripa and Mary-Kate Olsen danced as Joel performed at the Social @ Ross concert, a series of events that is becoming the marquee bash of the already glitzy Hamptons party circuit. The musical extravaganzas previously featured Prince and the Dave Matthews Band, and with tickets selling for $4,000 each, it's no wonder the night is a lavish one.

Zellweger clapped her hands and danced with a mystery man to Joel's encore of Piano Man. Ripa grooved along with her husband, Mark Consuelos. Alec Baldwin stood in the
