Carrie Underwood and the Jonas Brothers: American Idol Finals

National Ledger - Apache Junction, AZ, USA - American idol Carrie Underwood will grace the stage in Hollywood once again.  Fresh off her big win and incredible performance at the Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM Awards) she will join the Jonas Brothers (Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas) for a big time finale for American Idol.  Both acts will take the stage Wednesday night when America votes for either David Archuleta or David Cook to become the season seven and reigning champion of American idol.

Carrie Underwood took home the female vocalist of the year the Academy of Country Music Awards on Monday night where she gave a humorous acceptance speech where she said of her second consecutive female vocalist trophy. "I know I don't deserve it, but I'll take it."

The Jonas Brothers will be perform their hit song "S.O.S." and Carrie Underwood  will perform her current co-written smash hit “Last Name.”  In a recent vote online Carrie was chose as America's favorite American idol performer of all time.

She overwhelmingly won the online vote (unscientific of course) and crushed the competition.  Kelly Clarkson finished in second place with twenty-six percent (26%) of the vote.  Carrie scored fifty-four (54%) percent of the vote.
