Barbara Walters keynote speaker for local gala

abc13.com - A legend is coming to town today. "View" co-host Barbara Walters will be in Houston tonight.

Walters is most known for having interviewed every President and First Lady since Richard Nixon, as well as a wide range of statesmen and celebrities.

But today she's leaving Whoopi, Joy, Elisabeth and Sherri behind for the evening, as she attends the annual Crime Stoppers Gala. Walters will be the keynote speaker at the event.

The gala starts at 6:30pm at the Omni Houston hotel.
