Bald, Bold and Beautiful Robin Roberts Owns the Runway

TheCelebrityCafe.com - Valley Stream, NY, USA - Breast cancer survivor and GMA anchor, Robin Roberts, strolled a New York runway, modeling one of Isaac Mizrahi’s Fall 2008 designs without her wig.

Wearing a shimmering deep red gown, Roberts made her fellow Good Morning America anchors proud, as she took their dare one step further and bravely went on the air live – and bald.

“This is who I am,“ Roberts said with a smile about her decision to ditch the wig, according to ABC News. "I'm on the air without the wig and without underwear as well … totally commando."

Roberts strutted her stuff during the show for New York Fashion Week, on a dare from co-anchors, Diane Sawyer, Chris Cuomo, and Sam Champion.

"The story of my dare began back in July of last year when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer, knowing only that a battle lay ahead," Robin explained. "So when GMA dared me to be a model, it was the perfect opportunity for me to really push outside my comfort zone," Robin said.
