In tonight’s episode of “The Bachelor: London Calling,” Noelle Drake will bring Matt Grant to Loveland to meet her parents, Larry and Teresa Drake, family and friends for one of four hometown dates.
Drake, Grant and her family will spend a day at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch in the episode.
Filmed in February, Drake and Grant began the day with a romantic horseback ride around the ranch, said Jennifer O’Donohue, a group sales representative at the ranch. Grant rode a horse named “Big Daddy” and Drake rode a horse named “Jewel.” She also said they had a heart-to-heart chat down by the river.
“They had dinner here, and we served them a Colorado trout dinner,” O’Donohue said. “Everybody seemed to have a fun time.”
Mary Bahus-Meyer, public relations representative for the ranch, said “The Bachelor” is the second reality TV show to film there. About three years ago, another show brought couples to the ranch for the romantic setting, she said.
O’Donohue expects the exposure on national television will help boost tourism at the ranch.
“It’s going to be great to have the ranch connected with a romantic thing like this,” she said.
