Andrew Lloyd Webber Reality TV Coming To America

AHN - USA - Prominent composer Andrew Lloyd Webber has signed with Hollywood agent WMA to help make a network deal for a new reality show, which will search for an unknown star to perform in one of his musical productions.

According to Variety, Webber discussed with collaborator Jim Rice about bringing "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," to America for the competition.

Webber will travel to the US in the fall to talk with network executives to pitch his idea. Part of the process will be convincing execs that the similar NBC's series "You're the One that I Want," with its dismal ratings shouldn't deter them and will promote that the buyer be a financial partner in his stage production.
