But when a ventriloquist makes it to the final night, it's easy to remember that America's Got Talent. It turns out for Terry Fator, being a ventriloquist has paid off in ways that could never have been expected.
The multi-faceted ventriloquist/impersonator took home top honors on the Season Two finale of America's Got Talent. Terry Fator surged above reggae singer Cas Haley, beatboxer Butterscotch and country music singer Julienne Irwin to take the million-dollar prize. Host Jerry Springer made the announcement as he said, "Terry, you've done it! You are the best new act in America, and you have won $1 million!"
