ABC reveals 'The Bachelor: London Calling' bachelorette identities |
Reality TV World - Mansfield, MA, USA - ABC has revealed the identities of the 25 women who will compete for the affection of Matt Grant on The Bachelor: London Calling, the twelfth The Bachelor installment that will premiere Monday, March 17 at 9:30PM ET/PT.
The 27-year-old "global financier" and Bishop's Stanford native represents the first international star of The Bachelor in the show's history. According to ABC, the six-foot, five-inch blue-eyed Brit is "totally charming and [a] witty English gentleman [who] works with millionaire businessmen, but he has something on his mind that is more urgent than any business deal - he wants to find the love of his life and to start a family as soon as possible."
Similar to earlier The Bachelor editions, the reality dating series' twelfth season will begin with Grant -- who lived in a Malibu "bachelor pad" during the show's production -- meeting his 25 suitors during a cocktail party.
Many of the women -- who are "knocked off their feet by his handsome good looks, his sexy accent and his British sense of humor," according to ABC -- will apparently pull out all the stops to make a memorable first impression on Grant, from a pharmaceutical sales representative challenging him to an arm-wrestling match to a church marketing representative who bites a tin can in half.
The bachelorettes also don't waste anytime in trying to woo Grant, and their methods could be considered bizarre, as an aspiring singer croons him a tune she wrote just for him; a General Hospital actress boasts of her family's American acting credits; a fashion designer models a handmade dress; and a graduate student takes off her thong and slips it into his pocket.
